Mudgett Cemetery - Fairfax, Vermont

(Unfortunately, when I took this picture, the young cattle had just broken through the fence)

The Mudgett Cemetery is located behind the Ola Tracy Residence on the Fletcher Road. It cannot be seen from the road and one must walk through a pasture to get to it. Information on this cemetery was gotten by a group of individuals several years ago who worked together to restore the cemetery. Names were given to me by Sally (Wilkins) Sweet, one of the volunteers for this project. Names were correlated by Henry Raymond with The Fairfax Town Records for places of birth and death.
