One thing I saw in the minutes was that Fire had not send in a letter on the road standards. I dropped off our reply to the new standards on 9/8/10 in the a.m. there was a copy addressed to the Selectboard, The DRB , and the Zoning administrator.
We are very concerned with road standards in town, if we can not get to a address we can do no good. That is why I went to meetings for 2 years when I became Chief to make sure our road standard are wide enough to allow access for our equipment if needed. I understand wider roads in developments will cost more money to develop. And may loss the small town feel. But I hope to never again loss a building, property or a life because access is limited.
