Household Hazardous Day is this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.  I got a big old whopping air conditioner I have got to get rid of.

Fairfax will hold a Hazardous Waste Day on September 25th at the Town Garage on Fletcher Road from 8:00am to Noon.
Antifreeze (1 gallon containers only), Thinners (1 gallon containers or less), Oil Based Paint (1 gal containers or less),
$10 per household.

Metal Scrap, Clean Used Oil No Charge.
Electronics to be determined.
Car Tires $4.
Furniture/Matresses & Truck Tires $5.
Tractor Tires $10,
Heavy Equip Tires $20.
Herbacide Pesticides Farm & Household $5 per item (thermometers, electrical devices, lamps).
Latex Paint is NOT a Hazardous Waste.
