We had an absolutely delicious meal today of Ham & Scalloped Potatoes, Homemade Applesauce, Carrots, Pickles and for dessert, a nice moist yellow cake with whipped cream on it, plus beverages. Just an absolutely delicious meal - no complaints today. The volunteers are Ede Kirkpatrick and Ellie Galloway. What a nice gesture on the part of these two nice ladies.
I understand that on October 5th, the first Tuesday in October, we will be having pea soup and brocolli & cheese quiche, plus several other things I did not get a chance to write down.
We have had some carrots donated and someone also donated some squash, which all helps the cause.
