The Vermont French-Canadian Genealogical Society's Annual Fall Conference will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Bio Tek in Winooski from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This important event is open to the public. Pre-register at $10.00 or register at the Conference in person for $15.00. Lunch is available for an additional $10.00.

Program: Monsieur Jacques Boudreau will speak about the expulsion of the Acadians in 1757. Denyse Beaugrand-Champagne comes to us from the National Archives in Montreal to demonstrate how to navigate the Archives online and inside the building.
She will tell us about Les Soldats du Carignan who came in 1673 to protect the colonists.
