Title: Fairfax Relay Photos From Sharon O'Neill
Post by: Henry on October 07, 2010, 07:41:20 AM
Please consider posting these photos on your web site.  I am a parent of one of the team members and every year I love volunteering for and attending this unique event.  Makes me so proud of our kids, our families and our community!
Thanks
Sharon O'Neill

This is a great event.  At a normal x-country race you can find the participants cheering on members from their own school but at this event the kids from different schools seem to interact with each other.

I thought the kids getting together to dance to the Macarena (http://www.vtgrandpa.com/photos/albums/julie/Mac.png)  and the Electric Slide (http://www.vtgrandpa.com/photos/albums/julie/ES.thumb.png) was priceless.

This is a wonderful example of how important school sports, music and arts should never go away. The costumes are fabulous.
