Title: Just Got Back From The Turkey Dinner In Georgia
Post by: Henry on October 09, 2010, 06:12:47 PM
Truly a great dinner - And the desserts - something to die for.

They had other desserts, but I had a piece of Maple Cream Pie and a piece of Maple Cake - They offered me seconds on the turkey, dressing & potatoes and they had bowls of squash, cabbage salad and cranberry sauce on the tables.  I turned it down as I wanted to make sure I had room for the desserts which included a number of other desserts besides the Maple ones.  The had the desserts on the table and most people had a couple different ones, truly something you don't see very often.

I brought Sharon & Mary Kay with me.  Very, Very well organized and what a great group of people they had working there.

I believe, "The Good Lord Willing," we will all be there again next year.

I have a tri tip roast with carrots, potatoes, and onion in the slow cooker as I type.
The roast was coated with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
But that turkey dinner is making me jealous.

The Georgia Group is known for its Maple Desserts - My two daughters that went with me were very impressed.
