Well, the temperatures dipped to 28 degrees last night and it is a nice bright sunny calm day. Needless to say, the growing season for most areas here in Vermont is over and a number of our local "Snow Birds" will be headed South. Time to enjoy the local Chicken Pie Suppers and Turkey or Ham Dinners. I almost took out my winter jacket yesterday as that wind was cool.
I suspect most people turned up their thermostat last night or started their wood stoves. I noticed quite a few places had their wood stoves going on my way over to The Georgia Turkey Dinner last night.
If you haven't done it yet, you might enjoy taking a drive around, as most of the leaves are still on the trees - "Life is Good."
