Title: Mother Of Laurie Buckbee Dies At Age 64

THERESA (QUATRINI) BUCKBEE

BURLINGTON - Theresa (Quatrini) Buckbee, 64, died Sunday morning, Oct. 17, 2010 in the Fletcher Allen Medical Center after battling a prolonged illness. Theresa was born on Nov. 1, 1945 in St. Johnsbury, the daughter of Francis and Gloria Quatrini. On Nov. 17, 1962, she married Roger Buckbee, the love of her life, in St. Johnsbury. She enjoyed times spent with family, especially her two grandsons. She spent countless hours at her grandson's hockey practices and games, and enjoyed traveling with their teams, in many ways becoming 'Nan' to most everyone. Theresa was a volunteer driver for the North Western Transportation Co., transporting seniors to Richford, Enosburg, St. Albans and the Islands. She is survived by her parents, Francis and Gloria Quatrini of St. Johnsbury; her children, Brent Buckbee and his wife, Brenda, of St. Albans, Laurie Buckbee of Fairfax, and Brian Buckbee and his wife, Lori, of Colchester; and her grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Buckbee. She is also survived by her brother, Steve and his wife, Susan Quatrini, of St. Johnsbury, and brother, Bryon and his wife, Janet Quatrini, of St. Johnsbury; and her sister-inlaw, June Buckbee of Ohio, and her sister-in-law, Vicki Quatrini of St. Johnsbury. Theresa is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Roger Buckbee, who passed away in 2007; and her brother, Gary Quatrini, who passed away in 2001. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Milton.
