Maybe its me, but there are a couple of things that seem to be improving around town.  Probably shouldn't mention this just before Halloween, but I haven't seen any graffiti anywhere lately, unlike St. Albans:

In the past week, vandals have spray-painted graffiti at Bellows Free Academy, the Houghton Park field house, a downtown alley and a vinyl fence on Edward Street in St. Albans, city police said Wednesday.  Police said the graffiti are in the form of tags: individual markers of the vandal. Anyone with information about the crimes is being asked to call the St. Albans Police Department at 524-2166

Also, I don't believe I have seen any 4-wheelers go by the house in a while.  There used to be a group of them that went by every evening.

Yup it is a good thing and lets hope it stays that way through the Halloween season.
