Henry...I'm not sure just where this should go, but I know it is not politics! from, C.
Here's my comment:
Don’t forget to get your flu shot. Unlike the pneumonia shot and other vaccinations, you need a flu shot every year. This year’s shot will cover you for the H1N1 as well as the ‘regular’ flu. A clinic is held daily at the Georgia Health Clinic on route 7 south Mon-Sat. 9am until 7pm and also at the Franklin County Home Health Agency on Upper Fairfield Street on Nov 3, 1:30-3pm, Nov.4, 1:30-3pm and Friday Nov.5, 10-11:30am. For more information call me at 527-7694.

Good reminder, Carolyn When I was up in Illinois a few weeks ago , I stopped in at a Walgreen's store and asked if they could administer a shot, even though I was from Florida ( I was remembering last year when Seniors in Florida were discouraged from getting the H1N1 shot ) . They could & they did. Apparently a large amount of the vaccine available at this time, and well worth the few minutes it takes to receive one.

I got mine at the Senior Luncheon a few weeks ago - Thanks for the reminder Carolyn - When I don't know where to put something, I usually end up putting it in Current Events.

do you think that taking these shots weakins the immune system to fight other things?

Maybe it's because I got pumped full of shots in my 6 years in the Military but I hate the flu shot. (knock on wood) I haven't got the shot or the flu in the last 3 years

I didn't get the shot last year for the first time in a long time and yup, I got the flu; which flares up my Asthma! I was on meds Feb-June. I already got my shot this year :-)
