Title: Are The Roads Slippery??
Post by: Henry on November 08, 2010, 09:43:34 AM
Well, I haven't been out, but it appears to be raining and my thermometer says the temperature is 30 degrees - Normally that would mean icy roads.

Josh Langelier reported icy spots on 128.

Black ice reported on the flats at Bolton on I-89.

I went to St. Albans this morning and on the way back there was a car in the ledges on I 89 south just before exit 18. And then another car was hung up on the bridge that goes over I89 at exit 18. Georgia responders were there and Amcare just leaving  when I went by.
Please everyone be careful. This is supposed to turn to all rain in the afternoon, by the time the school buses head home.

It is slick out there in spots on my way to Colchester today.  Rich said Essex was a mix bag of crap over there too.

Bad accident on the bridge in Sheldon, route105. It's the bridge by Bourdeau Bros feed store......it has an historical marker with information about the Fenian Raids. The bridge was closed for part of the day.

Please drive carefully. I'm not coming to Fairfax tonight for the school board meeting.

Straight rain right now in Colchester, but I heard from a friend in Enosburg saying they had a thick coat of sleet on their vehicle when they got out of work at 5pm.
