Father Frank Connors (shown above with Father Rome) leaves St. Luke's on October 5th. Father Romanus Igweonu arrived the week of August 28th. The above photo was taken this past Sunday after the 11 a.m. Mass.
Plans are being made to welcome Father Rome and bid farewell to Father Frank on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at St. Luke's Parish Hall after the 11 a.m. Mass.
Father Frank is going to take over St. Michaels Parish in Brattleboro; that's where he grew up, so it's kind of going home for him, although he said that there's not many people left down there that he knows. Ascension will be twinned with Holy Angels in St. Albans, and St. Lukes will be twinned with St. Anns in Milton, and Father Feltz will be our pastor. Both Fr. Roy and Father Feltz will get assistants from Africa We will be getting Fr. Rome (that's his shortened first name) who will live in the St. Luke Rectory.[/b]
