AFTERNOON TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY...FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY.

* LOCATIONS...ORLEANS...LAMOILLE...ESSEX...CALEDONIA AND
WASHINGTON COUNTIES OF VERMONT...AS WELL AS THE WESTERN SLOPES
OF THE GREEN MOUNTAINS INCLUDING EASTERN FRANKLIN AND EASTERN
CHITTENDEN COUNTIES.

* HAZARDS...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
AWAY FROM THE UPPER CONNECTICUT AND LOWER PASSUMPSIC RIVER
VALLEYS.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
SNOWFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE AS SNOW BECOMES MORE
STEADY SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY NIGHT. DURING THIS
TIME FRAME...TRAVELERS MAY BEGIN TO ENCOUNTER SNOW COVERED
ROADWAYS. PERIODS OF SNOW SHOULD PERSIST DURING THE DAY
SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 5 TO 15 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGHS AROUND 30. LOWS AROUND 20.
