I always had a hard time waking up for school in the morning.  My poor Mom would yell downstairs to me so many times to get up.  HOWEVER, and she got a chuckle out of it, if there was a Noreaster or I saw it snowing a lot the night before, for some reason I could be up atleast an hour early with no trouble!

I saw many of the kids outside shoveling their parents yards this morning and some of the little ones playing in the snow while parents were shovelling and it brought back all the great memories of snow days!  It was also a blast that my best friend in high school, Sheri Spaulding, used to take her Dad's snowmobile down to pick me up too. Now THAT's Fun!

Hope all the kids get to enjoy the day off and get off the couch and play in the snow!

Just curious if there are any official snow depths for Fairfax. I think I saw on the news this morning that Fletcher received 20". We live in the village here, and I would guess that we received at least 1 foot. Much less snow in the Burlington area.

I live just outside the village.  I measured this morning in an area of my yard that does not drift and found 18" of fluffy snow.
