I guess this farm boy would normally say "to get my toenails cut", but since its the forum, sounds nicer to say pedicure. I have to put in a nice word for The Visiting Nurses. They used to come and do Maryann's here at the house because of her physical condition, along with doing checks to make sure she was not getting infections or other things. I am physically well enough to drive out to their foot clinics and today they are having one at the Old Holy Angels Convent in St. Albans. They charge you $15 and all you have to do is bring your own towel. I have been to several different ones and they are all wonderful.
The visiting nurses visit a lot of people here in town and were especially helpful to Maryann by helping her take her shower and numerous other things. All of this was completely covered by Medicare, since it was prescribed by her doctor that she needed assistance to do this.
