I get about 10 registrations each day and 95% of them are spam registrations. I personally approve each one, but if I do not recognize a name, email address or host, I just reject them.
This past week I did reject one in error and the person sent me a note, which I truly appreciate - Just e-mail me:

and tell me who you are and I will get back with you.
