A big orange truck with a chopper to chop limbs on the back was working on the Fletcher Road yesterday. Really cold day for that type of work. I noticed they were cutting limbs around the lines along the side of the road, but were not chopping them up.
This morning I saw them go down by and it looks like maybe that is what they are doing today.
Also noticed when I went down to the village yesterday that some people were taking advantage of the free firewood and grabbing on to the wood and bringing it home.
Don't know if this is a Town Job or Phone or Power Company job - Doesn't look like fun work to me.

It is possible that they are with FairPoint who is lying cable for DSL in Fairfax?

I hope it is for Fairpoint! If that is the case Dad (Henry) we might be able to get higher speed internet soon!

I just called the Town Office and the phone company hired this company to clear the lines of branches - Sad to say, nothing to do with increased DSL Coverage by the phone company.
