Title: Eastman's Bakery Is Open - Been Down Yet?
Post by: Henry on February 11, 2011, 08:48:42 AM: I expect Mike Cain has already been down to Eastman's Bakery - I plan to go down later today, but will give Mike Cain the opportunity to get the first pictures.

Both cases were full this morning. Homemade rolls are delicious.

"Thank you all for the support. We had an amazing first day and SOLD OUT! We had to close at 2pm. Don't worry, we've already started baking for tomorrow. We will be open 8am-2pm tomorrow."

I got a delicious donut there this noon and also have a couple of Strawberry Rhubarb muffins to munch on.

Post by: Cat on February 11, 2011, 04:55:19 PM: We stopped by a little after 3pm & they were nice enough to let us in. They had a few items left & we bought a couple muffins & a Lg Choc chip valentines cookie. Very yummy!

Post by: janet on February 14, 2011, 06:55:38 PM: I ordered a baby shower cake on Friday morning and they had it ready for me on Sat. afternoon. The shower was in Barre and everyone wanted to know where we got the cake. It was not only decorated beautifully but they all said it was DELICIOUS!!! It was one of the best chocalate cakes I have ever had.
When my daughter was married 8 years ago, Marion did the wedding cake and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would recommend them to anyone for special ocassion cakes.

also got a blackberry pie yesterday from there and OMG that was AWSOME.

Keep up the great work Mrs. Eastman and to your Daughter as well great job by all.

I did notice a sign in teh window that they are looking for a morning baker if anyone is interested you should stop by.

Post by: slpott on February 18, 2011, 06:58:04 AM: I think it is totally worth every penny. Having tried to bake a couple of things I can totally appreciate all the work that goes into each item. I think it is also cool that all the kids can have a fond memory of the "Bakery" when they were little. Neither one of my kids ate my homemade cinnamon rolls and both loved Yvonnes. They are having a lot of fun and today it is their goal to be ready in time so we can go before school. Its kinda fun to watch the excitement.
