Post by: Henry on October 13, 2006, 02:18:36 PM
The St. Albans Messenger reported the following results for Fairfax BFA Sophomore Testing:

BFA Fairfax 10th graders saw significant improvement in Math Skills, with 63 students either meeting or exceeding the standard, compared to 54 a year ago. In addition, only five students fell into the “Little” category, down from 17 a year ago. But Fairfax fell off in five of the six other areas, in some cases dramatically. Reading Basic Understanding saw only 39 students meet or exceed standards, compared to 55 in 2005. Four Fairfax 10th graders were said to show little evidence of improvement in Reading Basic Understanding, compared to zero in 2005.
