I was walking home from the post office Wednesday morning when the squall hit. I was crossing the Lamoille River bridge when I noticed it started snowing. Looked out over the frozen river, and thought, I need to get a picture of this. Notice the lighter sky and the snow moving in.

What you don't see is the very fine snow blowing horizontally across the road.

After picking up a couple of things in Steeple Market, the snow had grown to pebble size.
