Title: Nick's Bill

At long last ! On Thursday the Vermont House finally approved H.264, Nick's Bill. The bill is intended to prevent harm to families in our state due to the reckless actions of repeated drunk drivers. We've waited a long time for the bill to be approved, I'll avoid  rehashing all the reasons. Tomorrow the bill will be up for third reading and then it goes on to the Senate. I'm really looking forward to the day when it is signed into law.

Great work, Carolyn, and the tireless determination of Representative Brian Savage was inspirational.

It is unfortunate the the budget is the last priority of Montpelier.  I suggest that the budget be put 1st on the list of things to to & then ice the cake with all of the other nice things.
