Title: David Dennis's Mother Dies At Age 82

 ESSEX JUNCTION - Theresa M. Denis, 82, of Essex Junction died in Fletcher Allen Health Care with her family by her side on March 23, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born in Burlington on Jan. 3, 1929, daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Hammond) Millette. Theresa was educated in Burlington schools and married William L. Denis on June 9, 1949. She had retired from General Electric after 25 years. She was a member of Holy Family / St. Lawrence Parish. Theresa was a volunteer at the Fanny Allen Gift Shop and a member of RSVP. Theresa enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards. She looked forward to her dinners with family and friends and going to church. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Cheryl and Tom Grimm of Swanton, Craig and Mikki Dennis of Milton, and David Dennis and his fiancée, Torrie Latimer, of Fletcher; three sisters, Irene Chicoine of Colchester and Marion and Kathleen Pacha of Ohio; her grandchildren, Christopher William and Jocelyn Holcomb and their daughters, Madison and Morgan, of Hinesburg, Jamie William Dennis of So. Burlington, Nicholas Arthur Dennis and his wife, Lisa, and their son, Noah, of Essex, Raul Dennis of Milton, Carmen Theresa Dennis of Fairfax, Matthew William Dennis and his children, Landon Michael and Kyler Allen Dennis of Burlington, and Evan James Latimer and Emma Aline Latimer of Fletcher; one sister-in-law, Betty Millette of So. Burlington; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, William, on May 15, 2003; her three brothers, John, Robert, and Leon Millette; and a granddaughter, Kelly Anne Holcomb. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2011 in St. Lawrence Church, Essex Junction, with interment to follow in New Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Burlington. Visiting hours will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 No. Winooski Ave. Arrangements are by Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Directors.
