Title: Man Suspected Of Deserting The U.S. Army Arrested In Fairfax

A man suspected of deserting the U.S. Army was arrested Thursday by Vermont State Police in Fairfax.

Police received a tip that the 20 year old, was in the town and arrested him there on a federal warrant, Trooper Matthew Hill said. Police notified Army officials of the arrest, and imprisoned him at the Chittenden Regional Correctional facility without bail. The man is assigned to the 2nd BDE/4th Infantry Division, based in Fort Carson, Colo.
