Hi All,
The St. Albans Messenger reported yesterday that The Franklin County Sheriff's deputies said a safe stolen in a December 2005 burglary has been discovered in the woods in Fairfax.
A person taking photographs off of Goose Pond Road reported the discovery on Friday. Investigating officers said the safe belongs to Ballard's Corner Store in Hinesburg.
Police said they would contact the safe's owner and the original investigating agency prior to release of any further information. Items found inside the safe tied it to the Hinesburg business, they said.
