Franklin County, Vermont - November 13, 2006
Authorities in Franklin County were investigating a spree of armed robberies late Monday night.
The first was at Nan's Mobil on Main Street in Fairfax just before 10:00 p.m. Police say two men entered the store with a gun.
The second happened a short time later at a Blockbuster video store in St. Albans town. And a third was reported about 10:30 p.m. at the Eastern Dragon restaurant in St. Albans City. No word what type of weapons were used during the St. Albans robberies.
Late Monday night, police were not sure if the same person committed any or all of the crimes. They were looking for a man in dark clothing, possibly wearing a red hood.
