Title: JoAnne Captures Some Turkey Poults
Post by: Henry on June 14, 2011, 05:04:12 PM
Hi Henry,
I saw two sets of newly hatched turkey poults, and their hen.
I saw  6 in the first set (Can you find them in the grass?), They were on the Ferguson Rd.
The second set had 11 that I saw, and they flew. I didn't realize they could fly that young. (Maybe they didn't know either) These were on the Pilon Rd.

I've never seen young turkeys.  I'm amazed.
Thanks for the look!

Are the babies what they sell as Cornish Game Hens?
