SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 08/20/11 at approximately 0800 hours, Vermont State Police received a call regarding a vandalism complaint on Fletcher Road, in Fairfax where the rear window of a vehicle had been smashed out. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the rear window of the victim’s vehicle had been shot out using what appeared to be a BB gun or sling shot. It should be noted that this is the second such occurrence at this residence and that there have been nearly a dozen similar type incidences in the greater Fairfax, Fletcher, and Georgia areas all occurring at some point during the night. Due to the high volume of vandalisms which have caused several thousand dollars worth of damage, it is asked that anyone with information contact the Vermont State Police St. Albans barracks at 802-524-5993.
