TAMRA (TAMMY) LYNNE BROWNELL

WILLISTON/ HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Tamra (Tammy) Lynne Brownell, of Williston and Hollywood, Fla., passed away on Monday, Aug. 15 2011. Tammy was born in Lafayette, Ind. and raised by her mother, Janet Spreer. Tammy moved to Vermont where she took a job at Downs, Rachlin & Martin; she was employed there for over twenty years. Tammy will live on in our hearts as the honest, kindhearted soul she was. Along with being a loving mother, wife and friend, Tammy was a person who enjoyed the simple things in life. She took such great pleasure in the little things, such as snuggling up with her dogs and reading a good book. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing different cultures first-hand. Two of Tammy's greatest passions were animals and art. These, among many other pieces of Tammy, will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful woman and she is to be remembered as so, for all of the wonderful things she did in her life. Tammy, all of our hearts are with you, and hopefully now you are at peace. Tammy leaves behind the person who was by her side for over twenty years, Randee Brownell; their son, Benjamin, of Williston; and their daughter, Alison Couture and her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Tessa, all of Fairfax. Any and all who wish to make a donation, please send to the Humane Society of Chittenden County.
