Title: Firewood recommendations?
Post by: markdrapa on August 31, 2011, 07:22:48 PM
Does anyone have a good firewood supplier that they could recommend?  My usual guy has gotten out of the business and am looking for someone to take his place.

Looking for split and delivered to the north side of Westford.

Clyde Tucker in Fairfax has some really nice Hard'Ack that he is selling.  He is located on Sam Webb Rd in Fairfax you can see the wood stacked neatly.  He split it this spring and I watched him stack it.  Very meticulous guy.  Sorry I do not have his phone #

I did a job a few years back for Alaska Airlines in their Boardroom.

The stairs were to be Jarrah Wood.

It's a HARD wood!

It took 17 gallons of unleaded to ignite it!

How does maple burn?
Curious!
