There was probably nobody in this world as compassionate and caring as Jeannette.  She was truly a wonderful person who was always there if you needed someone.  I am sure she will be missed greatly by her family as well as her friends.  St. Luke's and Fairfax has lost a truly wonderful person.

I'm so sorry to hear this news.  She was a kind and gentle woman that we will all miss.  She was a source of strength and inspiration to me during a very trying period in my life and I can never repay her for her that support.  My sincere sympathy to her family but God has gained a beautiful angel who will continue to watch over her flock.

I attended Jeannette's funeral today and I must say, it was certainly a fitting tribute to Jeannette, who was always thinking of others.  Jeannette had lived here in town for the last 25 years and I personally have to say, I knew practically nothing about her pre-Fairfax life.  Emily Wills got up and spoke, as Jeannette's brother and sister felt it would be best not to talk about her early childhood life, but for each of us to remember her in our own special way.  Father Feltz, one of the four priests there who came to share in the life of Jeannette Wills mentioned several times that in the course of planning the service, each one was reminded that everything must be perfect.  All of us who knew Jeannette, knew exactly what he meant.  Father Connors, Father Feltz, Father Rome and Father Julian were there, however Father Raj had prior commitments to his Order and was not able to be there.

The choir consisted of over 15 members who provided music for the service.  When I arrived at Church, the Choir was singing inside and the sound just bounced through the St. Luke Parking lot in high praise for Jeannette.

I went down stairs to an elaborate Funeral Luncheon.  I couldn't believe how much food was there and everything was absolutely delicious.  I doubt that anyone, young or old will ever forget Jeannette and each will have a special memory of something she said or did.

May you Rest In Peace Jeanette - You have earned the wonderful reward you can now enjoy for an eternity.  Thank you for all you have done for me.

Thankyou Henry! Very well said!  Jeannette was very special to many people in very many ways.  We have experienced a great loss but we keep our  Faith strong as she did & know she is now helping guide us from a better place.

I have to echo Henry's sentiments...

To see all the priests on the alter that she had helped to adjust to our community when they arrived was just one of many examples of the positive impact Jeannette had on this community. Simply amazing when you start to connect the dots of all the people she has touched throughout her life.

Also, I have to give kudos to the musical group, many of whom have been friends with Jeannette for years. They all did an excellent job, and it was simply awesome to hear them sing throughout the service. Jeannette would have been proud, and I am sure she was singing along with them the entire time.

Jeannette will be missed, but the powerful and uplifting service held for her could not have better demonstrated the inspirational and positive legacy that Jeannette leaves behind in all of us.
