Just went out to get my paper and had to wait for traffic to go by. At first I thought it must be a funeral, but as the cars went by, it appears they are people out on a foliage viewing adventure. Its unbelievable the amount of traffic going by my house.
Had a pleasant surprise last night when JoAnne stopped by with some homemade jellies , pickled beets, squash and even a couple of pumpkins for my front step. What a wonderful, thoughtful person she is. I will leave the pumpkins out on my front steps until after Halloween, then when Bob & Kelly get their corn cut, will put them over near the edge of the plowed field and hope to see some deer come and eat them. Thank you so much JoAnne.
By the way, the traffic is now back to normal by my place now.

Hi Henry,
We actually saw you this morning (bathrobe and all!) getting your paper.... Most of the cars you saw were us locals heading to the Fletcher fields for Fairfax/Fletcher soccer....

Thanks Papi - I should never try to sneak out there in my pajamas and bathrobe - The timing is usually bad - Must have had a pretty good crowd
