I'm not overly concerned as it's not a big loss...but I'm concerned that someone was poking around.
I returned home from a fishing trip on Saturday to find three pieces of wood missing from where I park my boat in the back yard. Two 4X4's used as wheel chocks and a piece of plywood used for the trailer jack/wheel.
Someone needy? Or just kids?
Baffled.

I would say kids, I'm sure you have stuff of more value around if they were there with bad intentions seems like they would have taken something of real value. Just my though.
Where was the fishing trip? Catch anything good?

Could it be that the person who is contracted to plow or mow the lawn moved the materials so that they wouldn't damage their equipment?

well when i was a kid we used to take boards and make jumps/ramps for our bicycles

3rd Annual Frostbite Salmon Shoot-out on Champlain. I wasn't fortunate enough to get a fish big enough to place, but my partner and I did 18 salmon, 1 brown trout, 6 lake trout, and two ciscos. Fun time for all.
David...nope, no mowing was done and they know I have that stuff for the boat.
Eddy...I've been "peeking" in the yard next door :)
