Title: Fairfax Fire & Rescue Out To Bring In Patient With Broken Leg
Post by: Henry on December 08, 2011, 08:50:09 PM
Fairfax Fire & Rescue have been called out to rescue a person with a broken leg in the Northern End of Town - It is out in the woods so suspect they will need an ATV - I think I remember the fire department having some sort of rescue cart when I was down there one time.  Very fortunate for our Rescue & Fire Departments

yes very fortunate, we have a 4 wheeler with tracks (calcutta money put to good use) and a rescue sled donated bu Fletcher rough riders). Patient was around 3 miles back in the woods. It was a hunter whos tree stand had let looose and he fell 20'.

friendly reminder if you are going to hunt from a stand, wear a safety harness. I DO NOT GET IN A STAND WITHOUT ONE.
