First of all our road crew was out trying to make the roads passable, but when temperatures drop about 49 degrees in 24 hours after it has rained, lots of black ice to contend with. Needless to say, I never went out of the house yesterday. Along with the drop in temperatures, last night the wind was blowing between 20 & 30 miles an hour and is the type of weather I prefer to look at through my picture window rather than be out in it. Many thanks to our local road crew.
Our Fire Department was out around 11:30 p.m. for a car fire on Butler Road, again not a great night for them to venture out. Fortunately there were no House Fires in this area - Today, the weather looks beautiful, but if I do go out, I certainly will be wearing my tuke.
