We are very fortunate here in Fairfax to have such a wonderful Town Road Crew -- This week has been extremely tough on them and The Burlington Free Press is giving us an opportunity to brag about them:

As in one example I received this morning from Rev. Elizabeth reads:
"Henry: I was sure that I could make it through the drifting snow on Boissoneault Rd. I managed to get from my house, past Rene's but the increasingly deep drifts suddenly took over most of the road. Still confident, I kept to the right, went past the barns, and yes, got stuck!
Well, when it got lighter I took my shovel and walked back to begin the chore of digging myself out. And there was a town truck, and the driver, who I didn't recognize, carefully carving the snow away from the car! I was in awe of how he used that big blade with such finesse and skill, coming so close to the car that there wasn't much left to shovel. He came back in the opposite direction and waited as I rocked the car out!
His kindness was unanticipated, unexpected and a blessing, indeed. A grateful thank you to that driver!
Rev. Elizabeth" [/b]
