Took a couple of pictures Tuesday and another today. The workers think it bridge will closed for about 4 weeks. Lots of work to be done.

Nice to see the work being completed and from a personal point of view , to see that my name is not being displayed on the East side of the structure anymore....although the one that was carved in to the wood might still be there . The day in the mid-80's that the BFP had a picture of the bridge following a fresh snowfall , John Shedd called me around 5 am ( I thought it was a staff member calling in ill ) and assured me that my name was still prominently displayed in spite of the elements . How he enjoyed kidding me about that !!!! Thanks for the photos Mike & for the posting .
