Hi All,
Leon Thompson reported in tonight's St. Albans Messenger that someone walked into the back office of a busy store in the middle of the afternoon and took thousands of dollars in cash and left. This happened this past Sunday Afternoon at Jolly Exxon on Route 104 in St. Albans Town -- Better known as The Wagon Wheel.
It happened about 5:15 p.m. State Trooper Maurice Lamothe said, "Whoever did it was either gutsy, lucky or both." Police are exploring all angles, including the possibility that the crime was an inside job committed by someone familiar with the business.
