Today's St. Albans Messenger has an interesting story on The St. Albans House and the person who is renovating it - I believe at one time I remember The Smith Brothers having a restaurant there - They later had a restuarant where the Old Empire Theater used to be on the corner of Kingman & Federal Street - I never went in there at that time, but I also believe they had apartments upstairs. The St. Albans House is located across the road from where the Old Giroux Furniture Store used to be on the corner of Lake & Catherine Street

Lots of interesting stories in the Messenger, not only like this, but also about our local youth at BFA. I sure hope they can find a permanent Motor Route Carrier. If you are interested in that job, give them a call.
