An attempt to amend Article 7 -- To see if the voters of the Town of Fairfax will authorize the sum of $800.00 to offset operating expenses for Fairfax Success By Six -- to make it $900 was questioned as to whether the money amount could be changed.  While the moderator was looking up the legality of the motion, Pete Fitzgerald  was given a hat which he passed around in an attempt to raise the $100 to the delight of the voters present.

Patricia Hendee, Co-Liason and Paula Dearborn, Co-Liason were indeed grateful and actually when they counted the money in the hat found that they had $137.25, plus a $10 IOU

By the way, all items voted on today passed with the remainder to be voted on by Austrailian Ballot this coming Tuesday

Jedd Kettler from The County Courier was there throughout the meeting today, so I expect there will be a write-up in next week's edition of the paper.  The County Courier is also on line and is usually updated by 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.  You can click on the following link to view if you wish:
