This past Sunday the Fairfax Knights Of Columbus served a very nice brunch downstairs at St. Lukes - They served orange juice, coffee, sausage, and probably some of the most delicious pancakes I have ever eaten which we could top with real Vermont Maple Syrup. The brunch was free, but you could leave a donation if you wished. Had an opportunity to visit with some other parishioners that I usually only get a chance to say "Hi" to.
Very nice gesture Knights!!

It was delicious!!! I am very excited to have been there to go! Thank you Knights of Columbus!

Kill a dragon...

If you are a practicing Catholic and 18 years old, I would say you are pretty much in Ed - We have some very dedicated Knights who enjoy helping people.

Ed,
For non-Catholics, it is the slaying of two dragons and the rescue of at least one damsel in distress. Although dragons can be somewhat difficult to find nowadays, I would think that Carolyn Branagan would certainly qualify as a damsel in distress, simply by what she is up against down there in Montpelier.
Carolyn,
Keep your eyes open for a "soon to be Knight" riding into Montpelier in a shiny, white, van. He would have riden the shiny, white stallion, but.....

Thanks Henry, it was our pleasure to serve. Glad you brought the crew.
We'll be doing it again on May 20th after the 11:00 Mass, (around noon), all are welcome, dragons can get seconds!

May 20th, A very important day in my life, it was 55 years ago on May 20, 1957 that I started my first day of employment with IBM. I retired from there on July 31, 1992, 20 years ago. It has indeed been a good life.
