INCIDENT: Burglary/Robbery

LOCATION (specific): Carroll Hill Road, Fairfax
ACCUSED: UNKNOWN
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 04/18/12 at approx. 1516 hrs, VSP received a Robbery report from a residence located on Carroll Hill Road in Fairfax. The caller advised two male subjects parked in her driveway with one of the males getting out of the car and approached the front door. The subject knocked on the door and when he did not get a response, walked back towards his car then was seen walking to the back of the house.
The victim then heard the back door of the residence being broken and kicked open, then observed a subject standing in her dining room. The victim yelled to the subject who went to her and demanded money. The victim gave the subject the money and the subject then left in the vehicle in an unknown direction of travel.
The identities of the subjects are unknown or vehicle description at this time. This incident is still under investigation at this time.
Anyone with information to this case is asked to contact State Police. State Police also would like to remind citizens to be vigilant and to report suspicious vehicles or people to local authorities.

FAIRFAX, Vt. -
An elderly Fairfax woman was robbed inside her own home.
It happened around three o'clock yesterday afternoon on Carroll Hill Road.
Police say a man broke open 89-year-old Claire Bonneau's back door and demanded money.
She complied, and he took off in a car driven by another person.
Call police if you have any information.

There was a second break-in in Fairfax on Wednesday, watch for a police report soon (Sheriff).
