A Jeffersonville man has been arrested in connection with a road rage incident.
It happened Saturday night on Route 15 in Jeffersonville. Police say 42-year-old Walter Ward pointed a gun at another driver while he was heading east. Other drivers reported the incident and police tracked down Ward's Black Audi and arrested him. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
Road Rage is not that uncommon in this area - Not necessarily this serious, but numerous times each year as I turn in my driveway, motorists behind me have layed on the horn. I put on my turn signals at Tracy Road so they know I am going to turn in my driveway, but apparently, they just want me off the road.
Once in a while I will get a friendly honk of the horn from someone who knows me, but it is quite easy to tell when someone is having a bad day.
You just never know what kind of Kooks are on the road, so I just ignore them.
