As you may know, the library has a number of passes to area attractions which give you a discount or free admission (for the complete list, see below).
NEW THIS YEAR we have a pass for the SHELBURNE MUSEUM! The pass is valid 7 days a week and gives free entry to 2 adults and accompanying children 18 or younger. It also allows one library patron and one guest to register for Shelburne Museum member events.
The Shelburne Museum opened on Sunday, May 13 with some great new exhibits including Snow Mobiles: Sleighs to Sleds and Man-Made Quilts: Civil War to Present (quilts by men).
See this article from the Burlington Free Press for more on those exhibits:

Our other passes are:
ECHO Center
VT State Parks (Selected Parks)
Lake Champlain Maritime Museum (Vergennes)
Birds of Vermont Museum (Huntington) ALSO NEW THIS YEAR!
Shelburne Farms
Current Fairfax Community Library patrons whose accounts are in good standing may borrow these passes for one day. Reservations can be made up to one week in advance by calling the library at 849-2420 or emailing Debbie at fairfaxlibrarian@gmail.com.

Just wanted to bump this up for the summer.
My family & I used the VT state park pass to go the Sandbar yesterday & tomorrow we are using the Shelburne Museum pass. We are on vacation this week & we are doing local stuff.
Thanks so much for the passes. :)

You are most welcome, and we are very glad folks are using them!
There is only one - a new one for us - that no one has used yet: Bird Museum of VT in Hinesburg. Try it!!
