Title: And The Demolition Begins

The Old Wayne Ayers house is being torn down and being replaced according to a permit I saw posted.  The old house has been vacant for a number of years.  It will be nice to see the place built up and somebody living there again.  It will give this Old Retiree something to observe and keep track of.  The house is located diagonally across from me.

I am also very excited to see the new house to be built and our new neighbors to arrive!

When I drive up Fletcher Road, I don't recognize it anymore. New houses springing up, old structures being torn down -- its very sad to see the old landmarks I grew up with disappearing, but none as sad as when they tore down Grandpa's barn and then the old milk house and shed several years later.

Yes Ed the blue house.  I hear ya Kathy.... changes are tough to see but the for the better in both cases.
