Woke up early this morning to lots of chatter on the scanner about 1 a.m., because of a tree down and the road closed up around Fairfax Falls. From what I could gather, a tree had fallen on a power line, closing the road and I assume knocking out some power to some homes in the area. I looked outside and saw that it was raining and my big maple tree in the front yard was blowing around. Sounded like quite a few firemen out there along with rescue - Many thanks to our Fire & Rescue Crews - Don't know how long they were out there as I went back to bed.
