There's was lots to do yesterday. First we visited Ocean World where we could pet sharks, watch seals perform and take pictures. Pic 4221 was a beauty! Then it was off to the Jedediah Smith Redwoods. Pic 3789 says it all...they were gigantic! We also toured the scenic coast of Crescent City where we leared of a light house that is taller than the statute of liberty and cost more to build...$700,000 back in the early days. It's eight miles off the coast and 5 stories high. It's huge and can be seen off in the distance. Unfortunately is was a dangerous place to work and subsequently closed in 1975.
