Dear Families,
We are excited to invite you to a new 2 part event at the Fairfax Community Library that we know you and your children will enjoy. It may become an annual tradition!
Stuffed Animal Sleepover!
Choose a stuffed animal (not the one your child can't sleep without!) and bring it to the library on Friday, July 27th anytime between 3 and 6 pm. We will interview your child about his or her stuffed animal's personality and any special care instructions and take a photo of the two of them. After the library closes, the stuffed animals have a PARTY!
Saturday morning anytime between 10 and 12 noon, stop by to pick up your stuffed animal. You will get to see a slide show of all the antics and activities the animal were up to, have a snack, check out a special book your animal picked out for your child, and take home a certificate complete with photo. Everyone will leave with a smile, guaranteed! All ages welcome!!
There is no cost and no need to pre-register. Just stop in!
Also, a reminder for those aged 0-6, we have our last Story Time of the summer next Tuesday, July 31 at 9:30 with special guest Ellie Tetrik. She will be bringing music, songs, stories, instruments, bubbles, maybe even a parachute, and definitely lots of warmth and fun. Ellie is an experienced early childhood fun maker and educator. Hope you can join us.
