Events at Fairfax Community Library during the upcoming week of July 30-August 4:
Summer Concert Series: Nobby Reed Project from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1
- Join us for live souls and blues music
- Free to all

- Fairfax Town Office Green (rain location BFA Middle School Gym)
- Perfect for a family picnic if the weather’s decent!
Origami Workshop from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2
- Origami master extraordinaire and member of Origami USA, Gail Martin teaches basic folding methods; Gail’s work is amazing – she’s a real pro!
- Kids will get to take home nighttime creations such as a bat, a coyote, and stars
- Ideal for artists, as well as anyone wanting to play with origami
