This is not good news for the wonderful resource we call Lake Champlain.
First found a few weeks ago in the Champlain Canal, and now confirmed yesterday in Lake George.

A petition has been started to close the Champlain Canal, disconnecting it from Lake Champlain. This will prevent the invasion of unwanted species from entering Lake Champlain through the canal.
Please consider signing this petition and passing it along to others.

Yes this is bad news for our Lake I really hope the state takes this very seriously!! Once they hit the lake it will take no time at all for them to spread to other bodies of water around the state.
